How Does A Powerflush Work?
During a Powerflush, or Power Flush, we will connect a high pressure pumping unit to your central heating system. We will then use high strength cleaning chemical to flush out any sludge, debris and rust that you may have in your system. A typical Powerflush will take about six hours to complete.
How Do I Know If I Need A Powerflush?
There are many symptoms to look out for which could be resolved by a Powerflush.
You may have a radiator which stays cold whilst the rest of the radiators in your house warm up perfectly. This could mean that there is some sludge or debris blocking the water flow.
Your radiator might have cold spots at the bottom or top of it. This can happen when sludge sinks to the bottom or top of the actual radiator.
Noisy pipes can be a good indicator that your need to Powerflush your system.
Perhaps you need to bleed your radiators on a regular basis? This is more than likely to be caused by sludge and or debris in your system.
